Mondays in May: reading of the play Silent EngineMonday, May 18th at 7:00pm
at Glucksman Ireland House
Origin Theatre Company, Artistic Director George C.Heslin, in association with Glucksman Ireland House NYU, present the fifth annual Mondays of May play reading series. We kick off the 2009 series with the American premier of the play Silent Engine, written by Julian Garner and directed by Jo Catell. In Silent Engine, on a desolate rocky edge, a chance encounter with the sea forces a couple to confront each other and the memory of their lost daughter. A play of loss and redemption. Developed in collaboration with the National Theatre Studio.
Winner of an Edinburgh Festival Fringe First.
